I enrolled in the course to get a taste for the fashion industry, and completing it has certainly helped to shape my understanding of my future place within it. The course is concise, but comprehensive, covering all types of styling, with Laura and the guest speakers all sharing first hand knowledge from their respective sectors. The final task, to conduct a photoshoot, was my favourite aspect. This was an exciting and practical means of putting the gained knowledge into practice. "Absolutely loved this course! Didn't want the 8 weeks to end. Before part taking in this Fashion Styling course all I had was my love for fashion, now I feel I am equipped with extensive knowledge on how to be a great fashion stylist. Laura shared her expertise and insight of the fashion industry with us. Throughout our time we learned the basics of colour analysis and body shapes, essentials to have in our kits to how to work on set with all parties involved, how to come up with a theme and concept and style a shoot around this. was also fortunate to meet a lovely group of girls who were always so supportive and encouraging. "I found the course on instagram as I followed laura for some time and saw her post about The Irish Style Institute and the courses they were providing. I honestly couldn't recommend the fashion styling course enough. For my whole life I wanted to pursue a career in fashion styling.
